This scene is located in either Plumstead or Tinicum Township of Bucks County, Pennsylvania along the Tohickon Creek and was taken in the Spring of 2000. Kayaking is something that appears so adventurous especially in creeks such as this one. This creek is only open for kayaking twice a year when they let water out of the reservoir at Nockamixon State Park further up creek. I keep thinking I ought to try it sometime; but never yet have.

How old are you, Tim? Do you have good knees? HA. I loved it when I did it years ago but could never attempt it now because of a bad knee. The thrill is wonderful--just to say you did it. But you do use your legs and knees to brace yourself. Just letting you know. Otherwise, go for it!
Hi ginnie. Let's just say I'm middle aged. ;) Time will tell whether I try it or not. I don't own my own kayak so I would either have to rent one or find a friend who might lend me one. My nieces sometimes like me to give them a horsey ride on my back; then my knees do sometime hurt a bit so I don't do that as much as I once used to.
Kayaking is quite fun, as is white-water rafting, and when I post about my Bali trip I'm gonna include some pictures of that. I can't wait until summer, State Parks are always a great place to start for having some local adventures!
crystal, I'll look forward to seeing your pictures from your Bali trip. Thanks for coming by.
It just dawned on me that it was white-water rafting I was talking about, Tim. Not kayaking. Don't know if that's easier on the knees!
Hi ginnie. I would have my doubts that kayaking is any easier on the knees than rafting; but who knows without trying?
pilgrim, you're right. It does look like fun.
