On the last clinic day, I was given the chance to hold the cutest little baby girl. And she smiled in my arms as I talked to her!
Here I'm reading a Spanish language children's book to a fun-loving little boy who also enjoyed having his nose and face decorated with stickers. :)
In the background of this picture, I'm holding one of the most affectionate and charming little girls. She loved being held and was all smiles when I told her that she was "muy bonita." She touched my heart with her smiles and affection. Click on the picture to see her better.

They are all "preciosos." You have a heart the size of the universe Tim, and so do those kids.
Thanks, rubysoho. Kids are wonderful and so are most people when we don't put too many walls up. I think it was Jesus who said that in order to enter the kingdom of heaven that we need to become as little children.
Those children are adorable and I'm sure they appreciated your attention and affection.
Thanks, dinalove, for your comments and coming by. The children along with great team members are what really made this trip.
With the Blogger problems of this past Friday and Saturday, not all notes are showing up on this page as they should - one of them being a note from crystal.
crystal wrote: "And so do you plan to have kids? I think it's so commendable when people choose to adopt, like Angelina Jolie."
tim rice responds: I would love to have kids except for the combination of two things - I'm single and I'm relatively low income.
Adoption is admirable. We have one family at church who has adopted four Chinese girls. There is another family who has adopted developmentally disadvantaged kids. I think we as a church are also benefiting from having these children in our presence
Wonderful pictures and post, Tim. Inspiring.
Thanks, fred. Those children and the adults I met in Honduras were an inspiration to me. Glad I could pass the inspiration on.
