This past Sunday at my home church there was a session of Winter Bible School. In the picture below, the children's class had an excellent storyteller that day. The reason I'm posting this particular picture is because of some of the expressions on the children's faces. Some of them were definitely caught up in the story. I love watching faces.

I remember going to the classes and loving it. We had a very good priest. He liked to give us sweets when we could tell him a bible story with our own words. I remember mine had to do with Jesus bathing feet...
Hi monika. It sounds like you had a priest that really cared about children. Thanks for sharing a little of your experience.
Great picture. Facial expressions tell stories sometimes words can't describe. Thanks for the post.
Hi windowstomymind. Sometimes words may fail to express facial expressions; but from what I've read on your blog, I bet you can do a pretty good job of textually describing facial events.
wow...that's a great picture. How I wish I was a kid in that very class :)
Hello Tim, thank you for the message. That place is like a little part of Finland here in rio de Janeiro, almost in the bord with São Paulo state. The things there are really wonderful but also expensive, the weather is like a cold country too with some snow sometimes, really rarely but we can find it sometimes.
As soon as I have the oportunit to take more pictures about new places I will do if I remember about taking the camera with me.
Kisses.
I love it when I can catch such expressions on my grandson's face. Time stands still!
Hi chez. It was a good class. The storyteller knew how to tell good stories with a Biblical teaching.
Hi aluadacbs. Thanks for sharing a little more about your city and country. I always find your pictures and writing to be enjoyable and educational. I'll look forward to more. May life treat you well.
Thanks, ginnie, for coming by. Such expressions are dear. And it's great when one can capture such a moment.
A face says a thousand words, and these kid's faces say enraptured. The story must have been great!
Hi crystal. The stories were great and the storyteller knew how to tell a story.
I'm a preschool teacher and I love it when children clap at the end of one of my stories.
Kids make appreciative audiences. :)
Hi spider girl. It's rewarding when children respond that way. Bet you make an excellent teacher.
