Spring Fever

Two days ago, it hit eighty degrees. Today, I don't think it went higher than the mid forties and it is extremely windy. I'm missing my warmer spring weather. So I'm posting these spring wildflowers to remind me of the pleasures to come.

And pleasures lost for us in the Southern Hemisphere!

I can relate; The rain is leaving me in a bad mood. Spring has to be my absolute favorite season. I too can't wait until spring time.

Tim its so nice to read a postive blog. The changing season down here will soon see all the trees leaves drying up and most likely windy and changeable conditions. My favourite type of weather would have to be the wet cold of winter aswell as the intense heat of summer.Im a sucker for the extreme. September time..down here usually makes me sick.

My daughter said it was 80 in Atlanta last weekend (and I return there tomorrow!) while it snowed all day for us while visiting Hildesheim, Germany. Unbelievable. Those tiny flowers just before real spring are the Promise of Life after Death (as you already know).

san nakji, I'm sorry for you; but each season in its turn has its own beauty.

Thanks, rubysoho. Rain is so necessary; but when it hangs on too long or in too great a quantity, one does long to see the sun again. But spring is a wonderful time - a promise of new life as ginnie in a comment here does say.

Thanks for coming by, consise10. Life has so many positive aspects when we are open to see them. The negative is very real and sometimes needs to be expressed and lived through. There are times we need to go through a grief process. But training ourselves to focus on the good, the beautiful, the beneficial, I find to be a healthy exercise. But I don't do it perfectly.

Ah, ginnie, one never knows what the weather will be like where with certainty ahead of time. And you are so right about these tiny white flowers.
