Fantasy Land, No. 1, A Rose Colored Path

A rose colored path
Tinted in hues of yore
Log connecting log
Bridging a morass
Unfathomable

From whence it started
To whence it goes
Only experience
One step at a time
Does know

I checked and if not mistaken, Souderton is in eastern Pennsylvania. I spent the last three years of high school in western Pennsylvania, New Brighton. Then my folks took a church in Newark, Delaware when I was a freshman in college but I had already gone west. I've never been to Maine, but my parents and brother have and by the pictures I've seen it is lovely.

I think by your picture that we ALL would be better off if fitted with a pair of "Rose Colored Glasses". :-)

Pink or fuschia makes me crazy, but a good crazy. I just want to curl up and go to sleep on that bed of nature. Great pic.

I see you're really waxing eloquent these days, Tim :) How fun to read your verse along with your photos.

I used to under-appreciate pink. :)

Thanks, monika. I put on the pink glasses for you. ;)

Hi, srp. You're right Souderton is in Eastern Pennsylvania. And you ought to visit Maine at least once in your life. You made me smile with your last sentence.

Thanks, human. I'm glad you come by.

Hi, windowstomymind. I like how you worded your enjoyment of this particular picture.

Thanks, ginnie. I'm no poet and I know it; but every once in a while it is fun to play around with it. :)

Glad you enjoyed it, chez.

Thanks, spider girl. I'm not necessarily a fan of pink either; but this effect I thought was rather neat.

Hi ange. The photo was taken in Baxter State Park in northcentral Maine. But I regret to tell you that you won't find any such scene that blend of pink or rose or red. This was my fantasy land; I played around with the colors. :)

Tim, I had no idea that you like to play with words! You write beautifully! Reading them makes me wistful, somehow tugs at my heart.

Hi sharon. Thanks for your comments and complement. See, there's always more you can learn about your brother. And I'm glad that these words could speak to you. Just so you know, I keep you and your future in my prayers every day.
