Lenape Park, No. 1, Spring Is Coming

Yesterday morning, I went for a couple hour walk in Lenape Park going from Perkasie to Sellersville, Pennsylvania along the East Branch of the Perkiomen Creek. It was a cold morning probably didn't get out of the thirties all day; but it was sunny. :) The first picture shows one of the two walking bridges over the East Branch of the creek followed by five pictures of early spring flowers. It was a refreshing walk.

Thanks, kristi. There's nothing quite like spring flowers, is there?

Yes, it is! Spring is coming (and it has been in the 40s again here in Atlanta!). I love the blue flowers, like a ground cover/blanket. I love it all.

Pretty blue flowers, JLB posted some similar pics of that type of flower. Daffodils are lovely, but nothing blooms in Chicago until April!

I love dafodils! When I was staying in UK (when my dad was studying there) I used to love spring so much!

Thanks, ginnie. Even if it remains a bit on the cool side right now, nature knows that it is spring. It will be warm perhaps sooner than we think.

Hi, crystal. Yes, I guess it is a bit colder in Chicago than here. But your turn will come! :)

Thanks, lynn. Spring is a great time. A promise of new hope, new chances.
