Rainy Day

Today has been quite rainy and I decided after work to go to several different locations to take photos of two different creeks in the Hilltown Township and Sellersville area in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. So these are a few of the photos I took.

This has been an amazing year of feast or famine with rain all over the country! I can see you don't have to worry about drought!! The pics totally speak for themselves.

Those photos remind me of the floods in Manila. Hope you're doing good despite the heavy rains, Tim! c",)

Your pics make me sleepy because it looks all cold and rainy out. Great sleeping weather - especially on a weekend!

Hi, murf. It's invigorating and exhilarating, isn't it? :)

Hi, ginnie. No, I don't think we have to worry about drought here right now. We got over two inches from this rain and a little over a week and half ago we got a similar amount.

Hi, choochoo. Yes, you wouldn't want to get caught in those creeks. :)

Hi, irene. Thanks for coming by. And I am doing fine in spite of the rain. And today was a beautiful, sunny day.

Hi, deals on wheels. It might be sleepy weather but the temperature was relatively warm in the low sixties I think.

Thanks, moi. Ah, a weekend getaway does sound nice!

I hope that water stays in the river. There's nothing worse than a flood!

Nice creeks, I like the picture with the green leaves still on the tree....not very many, but just a nice touch.....I like the way you always try and catch a branch up close.....it sort of makes it 3D...

Tim - You find brown water to be invigorating and exhilarating? What are your thoughts on yellow snow then? :-)

Oh yes, this stream seems so strong and dangerous, i hope there is nobody having a house near the creeks

"Quite rainy" looks like an understatement Tim! Here too (Portugal), but today - Friday - oh, what a glorious day! 75º, calm, clear, back into T-shirts & lunch on the pavement of the town square. All for which I am extremely grateful.

Hi, san nakji. That's not a river; it's just an overfull creek. ;) But I don't think it was as bad this time as was earlier this summer when some people had to be evacuated.

Hi, judypatooote. I try to give my pictures a depth perspective when I can. Thanks for coming by.

Hi, murf. In part, I was just trying to get you riled up. But in part, it's the wonder and power of all that water that makes it invigorating. And no, yellow snow has no particular appeal for me. :)

Hi, cergie. This creek is strong and dangerous during storms such as this one. Once in a while, people are evacuated from along it.

Hi, mile stones. Perhaps a bit of an understatement though we had some other storms earlier this year that makes this one not seem quite as big. Yesterday and today have been quite sunny and warm here, too, in the upper sixties - not quite as warm as where you live though.

Hi, nabeel. Rainy days can be inspiring at times. It was raining though lightly when I took these pictures. The rain was almost over then.
