At the edge of town

I had to try out my new lightweight tripod that I got yesterday. I didn't have much time. So I only went to the edge of town to some undeveloped land. These are some of the results.

Every Thursday I take part in Thirteen Thursday and I blog hop around new blogs which I find fascinating.
This week I start with flitzy phobie and somehow came across your blog.

Stop by and take gander at my blog.

Yes, that's nice
You must try to catch the full moon, now ! A tripod will be a good help to get a neat picture

Some very nice shots Tim. I'm hoping for one of those flexible tripods for Christmas. I just can't hold still enough for some of my shots.
I like that little white flower.

Thanks, faye pekas. Tripods certainly can be helpful especially in low light conditions.

Hi, pepperlady. Thanks for coming by.

Thanks, cergie. And you're right. Sometime I will have to try to capture full moon. :)

Thanks, deals on wheels. God painted that one!

Thanks, sarad. It is actually the seed head of a wildflower known as Queen Anne's Lace or sometime more simply as a wild carrot flower. Why the seed head points in like that I don't know.

Thanks, photowannabe. Tripods certainly can be helpful. I probably wouldn't have taken these shots without one. When I was out, it was getting dark quick.

Thanks, judypatooote. I try. :)

Thanks, choochoo. The reds are beautiful, aren't they? I'm afraid these here are the last of the reds where I live till next fall.

Thanks, ocean. Glad you enjoyed the pics.

Thanks, shionge. Nature has a way of building beauty for all to enjoy.

This just shows that we don't have to go far at all to be amazed by the beauty of God's creation. ec

Nice shots again, i like the way you go in close on just a few leaves that seem to defy the coming onslaught of winter.

Thanks, annie. Tripods can make a significant difference.

Hi, mreddie. You're so right. The beauty of God's creation can be found almost anywhere if our eyes are really open.

Hi, photowannabe. During times such as you are going through, that is what friends are for.

Thanks, ash. There are so many photos that could be my favorites. :)

Hi, I*IcheI*I©. You do honor me. Thank you.

Thanks, sage. Actually, while most everything is now brown, winter hasn't really been here yet.

Thanks, darilyn. I love the reds, too. :)
