During my church's junior youth retreat this past weekend, I managed to find twenty five minutes to go on a short nature hike by myself. I was amazed with the serenity of nature during that short walk. I will let the pictures speak for themselves. They are presented in the order experienced.

Great photos - especially the one with the shaft of light down through the trees. The newts (?) were good as well. This type setting and quietness can really recharge batteries - physical, emotional or spiritual. ec
Yes, I aggree with mreddie; the one I prefer is showing this "shaft of light". You're alone maybe when walking, so you've time and opportunity to catch beautiful views, nobody to tell you: oh ! tim, come on ! Beautiful macaon too.
I just went on a nature hike without leaving my computer! Those were excellent pictures! I can't wait for my work day to end now. Only nine more hours to go.
Lovely pics, loved it :)

Thanks, mreddie. You're so right about this type of atmosphere recharging one's batteries.
Thanks, cergie. Yes, there are virtues to being out alone on a nature walk.
Hi, ed abbey. Glad I could be of such service. :)
Thanks, samrina. Glad you enjoyed it.
You have such an eye for color, texture and lighting. Great work!!
Thanks, trailady. It is good to receive encouragement in what one does.
i love the third picture .. one can see the sun rays :)
Thanks, nabeel. I think that is the favorite of many. It is a very pretty picture.
That shaft of sun IS the favorite, of course, but I also love any path in the woods, so that first one speaks to me as well. And of course, what a great butterfly pic. We love seeing nature through your eyes, Tim. I can just imagine what the inside core of your soul looks like!
I love that butterfly, absolutely gorgeous!
Thanks, ginnie. The trail picture with the shaft of light it seems is a favorite of many.
Hi, fairyesque-scandal. Thanks for coming by and I'm glad I had some photos that you enjoyed.
Hi, crystal. Butterflies are neat and the blossoms were beautiful. Glad you enjoyed it.
