A month, maybe two months or more back, I posted some pictures of turtles on logs in a small pond in Peace Valley Park near Doylestown, Pennsylvania. That was before spring had really begun so there were no visible plants growing in the pond. So I thought I'd show some more turtle pictures from maybe two weeks ago. As you may have guessed by now, turtles fascinate me. The turtles were a little more bashful this time with some them disappearing at the slightest sound.

Amazing. Your pictures are always so beautiful. Ever thought of publishing your pictures? I love turtles too. We donæt have them here though:(
I just love how they like sunbathing! It's so hilarious :)
The four turttles clung to the trunk are looking like getting away from a wreck ! Amusing.
Thanks, minka. Too cold for the turtles in Iceland, huh? It would be neat to publish a book of my photos. But it would be a lot of work. I know. Back in 1995 and 1996, I wrote a history of my home church that was published for our 250th anniversary celebration.
Hi, ginnie. I guess the turtles like the rays of the sun as much as many of us humans do. :)
Hi, cergie. Great imagination. I love imagination.
Very cute turtles! They have quite the life, huh?
Hey Tim.Ohh these pics are amazing! Turtles are stunning creatures and teach us that 'patience' is a virtue. Love this post Tim !
Thanks, kristi. One could almost envy the life of a turtle. But I'm sure they face more hardships than we know.
Thanks, consise10. Patience is a virtue when we can actually practice it. ;)

God Bless.
