This afternoon, I spent some time hiking at the Hilltown Bog in Bucks County, Pennsylvania just outside of Telford. Actually this piece of property has no name as far as I know but is sandwiched between an industrial park, a retirement home, a cemetery, Telford Boro, and a railroad with a housing development on the other side of it. It is a piece of wetland that I have enjoyed hiking in over the past few years. It is not a park but people have used it for four wheeling though this year very little of that seems to have been done. Perhaps the price of gas is too high or the four wheelers simply grew up. Anyway below are some of the flowers and sights I enjoyed today. In my next post, I may show some landscape views of the area.

The flowers and even the weeds that God makes are beautiful. ec
The next-to-the-last thistle pic is what I remember from Ruth and Don's farm. Since I've been using my camera, I've been enjoying and studying flowers so much more! What artistic Handiwork!
Super shots :)
Hi, mreddie. And I say, Amen!
Hi, ginnie. It's amazing how much we miss until we really start looking at nature. I think using our cameras also engages us more intimately with shaping the artistic view we wish to capture.
Thanks, reflex. Glad you liked the photos.
Great pictures! Love the butterflies!!! Thank you!
I like golden rod so much better in picture than in real life! Nice shots.
Butterflies, you have butterflies. This here girl loves butterflies!
The first picture is my favourite!
Oh i love hiking and this sounds like an amazing place to do so. It is such a shame that in my country you have to know where you can actaully do hiking otherwise due to the mines people might get blown away. :(
The pictures are amazing, i miss the sun and taking pictures of the nature like this
Thanks, ava. I'm glad was able to present some photos with butterflies in them for you.
Hi, sage. I find it fascinating how one can frame a photo shot that makes it look more beautiful than it sometimes would otherwise. It's the perspective that one views it from.
Thanks, minka. I glad I could make your visit with some butterflies. They can be a challenge to take as they flutter away at the slightest movement or shadow.
Hi, merili. You make me realize that I don't know how blessed I am to live where I haven't had to be concerned about such things. It is so sad how we in the world war and make parts of our world unnecesarily dangerous. I wish you could experience nature in your land as safely as I do in my land.
A quiet place for butterflies to soar and dance with delight!Love these shots of butterflies!
Thanks, naturegirl. It was a delight to watch these butterflies. Glad you enjoyed these photos.
Tim...both of your posts on the Hiltown Bog had great pictures. You spend so much time hiking around. What a lucky guy you are. Your blog has been an inspiration to me to stop and take more pictures. Even the littlest of flower is absolutely beautiful. I love your butterfly pictures and they are one of natures beauties that I can't resist trying to photograph, whenever I see one.
Thanks, abandoned in pasadena. I'm glad my work can be an inspiration to you to take more note of nature and photograph it. Your blog has the same effect on me. And butterflies are fun!
estas azules las tengo yo como "flores a la Mediterranea"
