Maine Scenes, No. 9, Baxter, Water Highlights

Maine has many creeks and lakes. Here's a view of a creek and a lake in Baxter State Park of North Central Maine. These pictures from yesteryears are calling me back there. The call of the wild.

Mountains, water ! I like these landscapes!
It's such a long time we have not walk in the wild mountains, I need that so much however !
I know nothing best than being sitting in front of such a lanscape near a good friend, just watching and saying nothing...
Happy man !

I would love to go back and re-hike the section of the AT from Monson ME to Baxter--taking it slow and carrying a fly rod. nice pictures that bring back good memories.

Hi, cergie. I, too, find a walk in the mountains refreshing and being with a friend or friends can be so good, too.

Thanks, rubysoho. I'm glad it inspires you. It inspires me, too. Hope you are doing well.

Thanks, samrina. Glad you enjoyed it.

Hi, trailady. That is neat lake with those rock islands. Awe inspiring.

Hi, sage. I bet, too, you would enjoy it. Maybe you should just do it sometime.

Hi, ginnie. Aw, you're making the call that much stronger. ;) Maybe I can get it in next year.

Thanks, chloe. It's sticky, humid here in Southeastern Pennsylvania, too.

Hi, minka. That's interesting. Gives me a little better picture of Iceland. Bet it's beautiful; but I would miss those trees.

Such a gorgeous breathtaking place. I love the waters and the greenary, it reminds me of my country which directly translated into Persian languages means the land of water (Bosnia).
I have to admit, looking at your pictures, you have an eye for it, really amazing shots. Cheers.

Maine is one state that I've never visited. Looks like I'm missing some beautiful scenery.

Thanks, tai. Rivers and lakes are so so wonderful and even that much more so in remote places.

Thanks, ava. I love it, too. Never have fished though. I was however sometimes with people who were fishing.

Thanks, merili. Your comments are an honor. Glad you enjoyed my photos.

Hi, cergie. That is just fine. :)

Hi, paige. I think you describe the feel of the place quite well.

Hi, fred. You definitely should visit there sometime. It's probably my favorite state outside of Pennsylvania.
