Hiking Nockamixon State Park

Today I went hiking at Nockamixon State Park in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. It was a sunny afternoon and after all the gray days we've been having I just had to get outside. It was a glorious hike. Below are a few pictures from the hike.

Beautiful pictures...There's a sense of serenity in every shot. I miss going on hikes...I think I'll convince my sister to take me to Crystal Cove tomorrow :) :)

Hi rubysoho. There is something peaceful about getting out in nature. Go for that hike!

Nice hike! The 3rd picture is quite interesting, are those mushrooms?

Hi crystal. Thanks! I don't think they're mushrooms; but some kind of fungae growing on an old log. I don't know it's name. This is my favorite section of Nockamixon State Park. It's always beautiful but becomes particularly beautiful in spring and summer when life comes anew.

Thanks, san nakji. I've seen great photos on your blog, too. But it's something we all can strive for.
