Tulips Around Town

The beginning of this past week I took a walk around part of the town of Souderton. This particular post is focusing on some of the tulips that were blooming then. I find peace and beauty in them and in the Creator who made them.

I'm picky about my tulips. I prefer them before they open but lovely pictures nonetheless.

Amazingly vibrant colors!!! My wife's parents immigrated from the Netherlands. And, Marianne and I were engaged there. So, tulips hold a special place in our hearts.

Thanks, paige. Tulips are one of my favorite spring flowers.

Thanks, merili. And, yes, for these shots the camera was held by hand.

Thanks, moi. I think a lot of people like the bright yellow tulip.

Thanks, murf. But I think tulips are ugly before the blossoms open; but when they're open, they're gorgeous!

Thanks, charley pitchford. Some day I would like to go to the Netherlands to see the tulips there.

Thanks, sage. I've never yet been to a tulip festival.

Tulips will always remind me of Amsterdam, Tim, where I was two weeks ago and will be again next week. I'm sure I'll see a gazillion of these there. But you expect them there! So YOU taking pics of them makes them even more special.
