Garden and Wildlife Views from our Home

Except for the last photo, all these pictures were taken in the past week or so. The last photo was taken early this Spring but is so beautiful that I still want to post it here. I do not know the names of all the flowers; but I do enjoy them anyway.

Morning Glories

Impatients

Petunias

Doves

Hi tim, the last phoo you mean the one at the bottom which is a spring flower : Japan quince flower (translation from French cognassier du Japon) so the fruit smells as good than quince's one.
At the top althea, mine is not yet blossomed. How is it possible yours is blossomed already ? Maybe is it from your brother's garden house
;o)
The impatience is beautiful, however it is not simpel at all with thes leaves having two colors and this double flower
And the doves, are they your sweet wife and you (love birds) in the wind ?

;o)

All of these photos are spectacular, Tim, with perfect DOF. I could see each one of these in the larger format on Shutterchance!! :)

Thanks, cergie. I'm glad you've enjoyed this post. And I'm honored to have me and my wife referred to as love birds. :)

Thanks, sage. The weather was actually quite warm - maybe fluffed up to let the heat out or any breeze in.

Thanks, charlotte. Glad you enjoyed the photo of the doves.

What fun y'all must of had.
We had the pleasure of driving through Shenandoah (sp?) National Park-Sky Line Dr recently. Y'all do have some very lovely country up that way.
