A Walk Along the Delaware near Frenchtown, New Jersey

This past Tuesday afternoon I took a walk along the Delaware River near Frenchtown, New Jersey. It was a beautiful sunny day with temperatures in the seventy degrees Fahrenheit. This was the first time I walked this stretch of the New Jersey path along the Delaware. I didn't realize what I was missing in the past. The third last and last picture show parts of a feeder creek to the Delaware River.

Hi, murf. That I think is one of my best pictures from that walk. Thanks.

Wonderful photos, all beautiful.
Particularly the bridge with the reflexion.
They are giving me "ramblinglust" (is it possible to write that ?)

And the close up on the grass and flower is not ugly too.

Thanks, sarad. Yes, God has blessed us with a marvelous world. Let's hope and work to keep it that way.

Hi, chad oneil. That picture is one of my favorites, too. There's a bit of history there along with the allure of nature.

Thanks, mreddie. God made his world a more interesting place so that not all things happen at the same time everywhere.

Thanks, joelreynolds. Fall has so much beauty to share with us. And that other photo is also special. Glad you liked it.

Thanks, judypatooote. The road you mention in my picture is actually a combination walking/biking path in a New Jersey state park along the Delaware. It's a great place to lose one's self or for reflective thinking.

Thanks, reflex. Autumn is eye candy before the winter sets in. Winter has its own beauty but is less colorful.

Thanks, valerie. That is a temperature difference from here though yesterday and this morning it got cold enough to have frost.

Hi, moi. Fall is beautiful. Something everyone ought to see sometime. But I have seen pictures from parts of Florida that makes me appreciate its beauty, too.

Thanks, kimberly. It's beautiful time of year up here. That road does have its allure. Not only does it have beauty on either side of it but it causes us to wonder what beauty might lie ahead.

Thanks, cergie. I'm glad my pictures are giving you ramblinglust. Actually, probably the proper English way to write that is "rambling lust". But I think we can allow some license to personal preference here. :) The bridge and its reflection in nature is beautiful. It intertwines a bit of history with the wonder of nature.

Thanks, cari. I try - at least sometimes. :)

Thanks, jon cox. Glad you enjoy my shots of nature.

Hi, faye pekas. Thanks for coming by. It is place for one's soul to be uplifted. :)

Thanks, jazzy. Nature has a way of revealing its beauty the world over.
