Faces in the Night

Faces in the night
Storm driven dreams
Beveling against the real

Those faces piercing
Fixating beyond the seen
Breaking through a terror unnamed

A fire roaring
Between house and lake
Broaching an emptiness not spoken

Off in a distance
Darkened trees against a riled sky
A fury raging undefined

So real the faces
So far from touch
A baffled heart.

All is beautiful here tim, the poem of course, the B & W picture that you have worked with photoshop and the way you put the sentences of the poem in the middle and with different colours, congratulations, dear friend poet !

Tim, your work is getting better and better. At the risk of sounding like I am flattering, you should consider putting together a web gallery of some of your better work.

It reminded me of the terrible fires raging out of control in California. What a nightmare!

Thanks, lucie marguerite. It's always good to know what other people appreciate about my projects. :)

Thanks, kevin stilley. I do try to keep learning. As for the web gallery, that is something to ponder.

Thanks, rubysoho. The photo and poem does have its frightening aspects as so does life from time to time.

Hi, ginnie. Those fires in California definitely are a nightmare.

You are quite a poet Tim and that picture really went well with your poem.

Thanks, abandoned in pasadena. I enjoy writing poetry now and then; but it requires a bit of effort. :)
