In my previous post, I presented some close-up photos of wildflowers and other sights in the Hilltown Bog and promised some more photos that would give a more total landscape view. So here they are. My favorite is the third photo though I appreciate the entire scene. All pictures are clickable for a larger view.

What great pictures! Thanks for sharing them. I especially like the last one with all of the bubbles.
The fourth one has my vote! I just want to run into it!
Hey, Tim - so it's a Bog Blog? Lovely photos: thanks for your comment on Blogonymous. Strangely enough, I completely randomly came across your blog yesterday - I remembered it as I know your namesake.
I like the thistle pic, too, but I also like the 2 pics of the bog, where you see the water. That's what I think of when I see the word "bog."
I like 'em all. But yes the 3rd one is really good.
Hi, Tim. Do I want to know how you were able to make the water bubble like that? ;-) Also, are their paths or did you just wade through?
Nothing more peaceful than a quiet stroll with the camera among natures
delights to centre oneself!
Hi, ava. Glad you enjoyed these pictures. The bubbles one is neat, isn't it?
Hi, minka. Sometime, you'll have to come to Pennsylvania. You'll find many places to run in.
Hi, blogonymous. Glad you enjoyed my photos. You should see some of the emails I have received over the years from people who somehow thought I was that namesake! :)
Hi, ginnie. Yes, those water pictures were necessary to communicate bogness. Some of the bogness was hidden in the other pictures by the grasses and other plants.
Thanks, paige. Glad you enjoyed this post.
Hi, m! I didn't do a thing; the water was naturally bubbly like that. There remnants of slight paths but rapidly disappearing.
Hi, naturegirl. It was peaceful and soul restoring to spend time in the midst of nature's delights.
Hey ! Tim ! I thought it was frog eggs in the water and not bubbles !
It is sure a very nice area to rest.
But I wonder if the smell is good?
Because I noticed when there are water and aquatic plants like these, the odour is not so pleasant that you'ld like.
And perhaps bubbles are a clue, HummmMM ?
Hi, cergie. It was a pleasant place to be and I detect no foul smelling odor. I'm not sure what caused the bubbles.
Had you a cold, Tim ? That happens very often when autumn is coming.
Hi, cergie. No, I don't have a cold. I really don't think there was a bad smell there. :)
