A Hike along the Tohickon Creek near Stover-Myers Mill, Part 2
Tuesday evening two weeks ago, I went hiking along the Tohickon Creek near the Stover-Myers Mill in Tinicum and Plumstead Townships, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. It was a beautiful, mostly sunny evening for a hike - not to hot, not too cold. Below are some photos from that hike. This is a continuation from the previous post.
An evening view along the Tohickon Creek
A beautiful yellow wildflower
Another beautiful yellow wildflower against a tree trunk
A view of the Cabin Run Covered Bridge The Cabin Run Creek flows into the Tohickon Creek
I saw a covered bridge in the Yosemite Park ; it was very interresting for me. I liked it. Made me remember the movie "The Bridges of Madison County" (Clint Eastwood as actor and director). A wooded bridge. I read that these kind of bridges are covered because it is easyer to repair the roof than the bridge itself.
My main blog: Ramblings generally focuses on telling a story via photography and words. These stories generally center around family, nature, and church although sometimes just about life in general. I also have a blog entitled Fingerprints. I post less frequently in Fingerprints. It serves as a catch all of anything that does not go in my Ramblings blog including memes, quizzes, and reports on books and movies.
The road awaits
Time doesn't
The road beckons
Time steps forward
Will we move
In step with time?
Will we step forward
Shaping our time?
Will we take time
To see the present?
Will we explore the past
And understand our heritage?
Will we laugh?
Will we wonder?
Will we touch?
Will we feel?
Time flies on
We have choices
Shall we go fast?
Shall we go slow?
We shall go forward
But we will choose the pace
We may dance with all our heart
Or bathe ourselves in a setting sun

I just LOVE covered bridges, Tim! And of course...sunsets and wildflowers!
I've always been a sucker for the sunset-in-the-puddle-thing.
Another great hike. Thanks for sharing some great pictures.
My goodness that last one with the reflections of the sunset on the water-that is sureal looking.
I love the sunset in the water!
beautiful photos!
Thanks, cergie. Covered bridges do have a certain romance about them.

Thanks, sage. The sunset in the water picture seems to be popular. I do myself think it very beautiful.
