A 5th of July Party

On the 5th of July, many of my family and friends got together for a party over in Bedminster Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. It was a partly sunny day with an hour long shower thrown in just around mealtime. Below are some photos from the day.

Enjoying the pool

My parents sitting by the pool

The family of one of my brothers arriving with some food

A crazy game of croquet
Look where the hoop is! :)

Family members catching up with each other

Getting ready for supper

Four of my nephews

Just talking and playing

Playing volleyball
But where's the ball? :)

Awww,I like seeing pictures of family on your blog. It won't be long till I'm home to enjoy a bit of family at least for a few months.:)

Growing up, we used to have parties like that all the time. My own children have missed out on the large family gatherings since we're all so spread out.

Looks like you had a great time!

Thanks, sharon. I'm glad to be of service to you and others that way. And my wife and I are looking forward to seeing you more often.

Thanks, fred. When gatherings such as these are possible, I do highly recommend them. It's a good time of enjoying and catching up with one another.

I'm happy to see your parents enjoying this day with all their friends and family. Maybe it was exactly like if it was their own day.
This place to be all together must have been very large. Is it the home of someone of yours ?

Next time you will say what you got for supper. I'm sure it was YUMMY !
(My SUPPER is almost ready ; it is smelling VERY good in my house, it is why I imagine yours.)

The thing that's so fun about these photos, Tim, is that after all these years, I can recognize your relatives! :)

Thanks, sage. It was a great time. I am blessed that so much of my family can and does get together so frequently.

Thanks, lyliane, for coming by to visit my blog. I wish I knew French so I could respond more directly to what you wrote.

Thanks, marguerite. This was a very special day for all of us as it always is when family can get together. We actually were at the home of a church friend who does has a very nice home and a pool! :) As for the meal, we had so many delicious foods - too many to list. :)

Thanks, ginnie. That's neat that you are able to recognize my relatives. And that probably does make it more interesting.

Thanks, charlie pitchford. It was a great time of fun and fellowship. And married life is good! It also keeps me very busy. :) :) :)
