Schoodic Point, Acadia National Park

Below are seven photos from Schoodic Point, Maine, from when we were on our honeymoon. Schoodic Point is located North across the bay from Bar Harbor and the main part (Mount Desert Island) of Acadia National Park. It has a lot of neat coastal views and is lesser known than the Mount Desert Island section.

This last photo below is a picture of where we stayed during our honeymoon. It is a part of the Quality Inn at Bar Harbor, Maine. We were in the last room on the right. The room contained two queen size beds and a kitchenette.

The sun-light was a good help to have so beautiful and impressive pictures.
I like how the rocks are in volume. I like the waves. I can imagine their roar...
I am an architect, don't forget that, Tim. So I like too this modern house...

The penultimate photo is outstanding. You caught the wave at just the right moment and just the right settings.

Hi Tim,

I like your pictures too. I was at Schoodic Point in June of 2005; that area is really beautiful.

Thanks, sharon. I do really like Schoodic Point. We did not have as much time to spend there as I would have liked; but the time we were there was precious.
