Wintertime

Last Friday I went hiking just outside the town of Telford near some railroad tracks in a partially wetlands area. It was partially cloudy with the sun peaking through some times. It was good to get back out in nature hiking and doing some photography. In some of the pictures there is a little bit of snow and ice. Actually, the snow is almost infinitesimal. Only got a dusting that morning and a tiny bit more since then.

All the pictures are great but I really love the seed pod going to seed with the tuft of fuzz blowing. It almost looks like a silouette of a dancing girl.

How is Winter treating you Tim? I heard the US is getting really cold now.

I love the moss on the tree roots, I think that may be one of your best photos ever!

Looks a lot like the area around Sarajevo, except it's snowing here tonight, so tomorrow everything will be white :)

Thanks, deals on wheels. The photo with the moss on the tree roots is one of my favorites, too. :)

Thanks, kimber the wolfgrrrl. I liked that photo, too. :)

Thanks, san nakji. It is now getting cold here in Eastern Pennsylvania. It's supposed to feel like 0 degrees Fahrenheit all day tomorrow.

Hi, sage. Yept, it is hard to find much snow around Eastern Pennsylvania. We did have a brief snow squall today.

Thanks, ash.

Hi, merili. I bet Sarajevo will look really beautiful with all the fresh fallen snow.
