Fireworks

Saturday night I was at a wedding reception which ended with fireworks. Below are some of the pictures I took. They don't reflect the real scene since my exposures were too long for that. But nevertheless, I thought they were fascinating images.

Knowing how hard it is to photograph fireworks, Tim, congratulations. Aren't we all so fascinated by them!

I've seen some fireworks at wedding receptions but never that kind. Will you be doing the same at yours?

Must of been some wedding, you didn't move up your date, did you?

That's an impressive wedding celebration. The first few pictures look like the starting of Star Wars. Great shots.

Well, I think those are some pretty spectacular shots! And it's an intersting idea to have fireworks after the wedding.

Photographing fireworks isn't easy. The top two are really good, and in my mind I almost could imagine those two as being photos of some deep space area taken by Hubble.

Thanks, ginnie. Fireworks are such fun!

Hi, murf. Nope. We plan to keep our wedding day an active celebration yet delightfully simple. :)

Hi, sage. Nope, we didn't move up our wedding date as fun as that might be if only we had the time to do so. :)

Thanks, photowannabe. It was fun watching the fireworks and taking photos of them.

Thanks, mikaela. I did enjoy it, too.

Thanks, cergie. We're trying to keep our wedding celebration simple and relatively inexpensive. So, nope, no fireworks.

Thanks, ava. This was my first experience of fireworks at a wedding, too.

Thanks, charley pitchford. Our wedding will be the Saturday after Labor Day in September.

Thanks, jam. I love your imagination!

Thanks samrina. Hope all is well with you.

As usual with beautiful fireworks, my response is:

"Oooo! Aaaah! Ooooh!"

Great send-off for a wedding.
