Yesterday morning and early afternoon, I went for a hike along the Tohickon Creek near the Stover/Meyers Mill not far beyond Pipersville, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. It was a a beautiful, mostly sunny fall day with the temperatures reaching up near eighty degrees Fahrenheit in the afternoon.

Great pictures. When I lived just a little south of you in Maryland I loved this time of year as the leaves began to change. By the middle of October they were on fire with beautiful florescent orange leaves.

O.k, Tim...I was hoping someone would say something about the animals in the last picture but my curiousity is getting the best of me even if it may make you question my knowledge of farm animals but...what are those things? Goats?
By the way, Tim...as a city girl, I would really appreciate it if you would name your jpeg pictures something more descriptive than the default one that the camera gives it. :-) See, I did try all available options to find out what those were before publicly asking. I'm hoping Sage has computer issues today and forgets to read this entry of yours once he's back up and running and then never sees me asking this. :-)

Perhaps my eyes were not yet well opened.
I said to San Nakji on my blog that I almost got married with a goat grower!!! (first Patrick was wanting to do that job, difficult when you don't have a dad having a farm before)
Goat are so mischievous, so clever and independent, you always need to run behind them to gather them back home.
And it is better not to scratch a male between its two horns ! AHAHA !
Hi, cergie. Yes, goats can be mischievous creatures. One of my brothers while we both were still living on the farm had a goat for a pet. We actually liked to tussle with him from time to time. And if one didn't keep one's eyes open, one did get butted on the behind from time to time. :)
