Hiking Along the Perkiomen Watershed Trail

This afternoon I went hiking along the East Branch of the Perkiomen Creek at the Perkiomen Watershed Conservancy headquarters near Schwenksville, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. It was a beautiful, sunny day with temperatures being just right.

Berries on the way

Bluffs along the creek

I'm always impressed by the size of this tree

Looks like you weren't the only hiker out there. At first, I didn't notice that person crossing the low creek. Why anyone would knowingly get their shoes wet is beyond me. :-)

Really you did my laugh and I needed that today
That's good ! Self portrait of the Hiker !!!!!!!!!!!!!
I was imagining you rather with fair hair !

Wild lily, wa call them "hemerocale" and yes they are not difficult to grow at all, but they are not wild at all here, you only may find them in the garden
Brown-eyed Susan ! the one i know has brown eyes yes but she is not as this one
Mine is a creeper, looking like convulvus

So, different country > different words > different pictures in the mind.

Love the big tree too! When I was a kid, I would have found a way to get up on that massive branch there and see how high I could get up in there.

I haven't been by in a while; love the photos, as always. Love the animal ones and especially, the striking colors of the light purple moth on the spindly, purple flowers. Beautiful! Many blessings for your upcoming wedding as well!

Hi, murf. Actually that guy I think was fishing. But sometimes when I'm wearing old sandals, I love hiking through water. :)

Thanks, cergie. I'm glad I could give you a good laugh. Laughter is good for the soul. And, yes, different country, different pictures that make up one marvelous world.

Thanks, jam. Big trees are awesome. And, yes, as a child I probably would have wanted to climb it, too. Maybe I should now to get some awesome photos from another perspective. :)

Hi, sage. I haven't seen any. But people do fish along that creek so maybe so.

Thanks, fairyesque-scandal. Nature is so beautiful! And I am looking forward to the wedding day and married life. My fiancée is a most wonderful person. I couldn't ask for better!

Tim, I don't think your better half will allow any climbing of big trees until after the wedding. :-)

Where is the Hiker, I wonder ?
Is he lost in his dear mountains or too busy with the wedding preparations ?
