Along the Tohickon Creek near Pt. Pleasant
Saturday morning, I went hiking along the Tohickon Creek near Pt. Pleasant, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. It was a mostly cloudy morning but warm enough for me to hike in sandals though wearing a lightweight windbreaker jacket.

Came over from Sage's blog. Enjoyed the photos from your hike!!
As a kid I always thought ferns were a New Zealand plant. Now I know differently. However, whenever I see one I always feel it's a piece of home :)
Your pictures show the power of water. I like them all but the last one is my favorite.
the name Pleasant pt. seems apt for the place...lovely pics as always...and yeah I'm partial to the last shot too!!
Don't you just love the different seasons of the year on your hikes, Tim! I know you do. These are such wonderful pics, as always!
That's a wonderful way to spend some time, communing with nature in the woods and water like that. Thanks for taking me along on that hike with you.

nice photos again! It's warm enough to hike today in sandals here--tomorrow its not suppose to get above freezing and to be snowing!
These are great shots. I am with Sue of photowannabe...I love the last one for sure! :)
Thanks, pat paulk. Glad you enjoyed my hike via my blog post.
Hi, san nakji. Isn't it interesting the associations we make to what is "home"?
Thanks photowannabe. The power of water is impressive and the last one is one of my favorites, too.
Thanks, moi. You're right - it is a pleasant area to be in. And I think a lot of people are partial to the last photo in this post. :)
Thanks, ginnie. Each season has its beauty. But I'm ready for Spring and for all the green and other colors it brings now. :)
Thanks, annie. It was a wonderful place to enjoy the beauty of nature and soothe one's soul.
Thanks, sage. It's suppose to get colder here tomorrow, too; but not that cold. We're suppose to get rain and maybe a thunderstorm but no snow.
Thanks, anna. Glad you enjoyed the pics.
You certainly could like hiking on Koli, our National Park near Joensuu.
If you look my October post from 27th.
