An Afternoon hike on the East Branch of the Perkiomen Creek
Yesterday afternoon I went hiking along the East Branch of the Perkiomen Creek at the Perkiomen Watershed Conservancy Headquarters near Schwenksville, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. It was a beautiful, warm, sunny day with the high in the seventies degrees Fahrenheit. Some of the photos are not quite as good as some times due to taking the hike in the afternoon rather than early morning or late afternoon/evening. But they still announce "Spring is here!" :)
Some beautiful white wildflowers larger than life
A forest scene with two decaying trunks
Some blue wildflowers
A tiled photo of some yellow wildflowers
A bluebell
A single leaf on the sandy Perkiomen Creek Bank
More white wildflowers
Purple buds

Aaah, winter must be finally over. I guess that trip to Tahiti will have to wait. ;-)
Beautiful flower shots, looks like you had a lovely walk :o)
Very nice. Our wild flowers have been in bloom, some are dying back already.
Spring is here! but I still want to go to Tahiti on Murf's expense
Hi, murf. You don't get off that easily! Sage and I still hold you to your promise. ;)
Thanks, talj. It was a lovely walk. :)
Thanks, paige. It has been an unusually cold April for us here in Southeastern Pennsylvania except for the past couple days. Spring was late coming here.
Hi, sage. I agree. :)
Tim, as always, I love your photos, and your blog inspires me.

Thanks, moi. The past few days have been wonderful spring-like here in the 70s and 80s; now it's suppose to go back into the 60s for the foreseeable future which isn't bad just not as nice as the 70s. :)
A beautiful set of photographs. That top one is my favorite of the bunch.

We don't have such flowers in nature in France, only the bluebell

Thanks, lilly & nevada. It is always nice to know that my photos are appreciated. And wildflowers are special especially in the Spring and actually all the time. :)
