This picture was actually taken before engagement and before Christmas when I was introducing my now fiancée to my family for the first time at my parent's home. We have not at this time had an engagement photo taken. Murf, you sometime back asked for a picture of my hiking shoes. In this photo you can see a hiking shoe I use. ;)

I just noticed that lamp by you in the picture...my mom had one very much like that. I inherited it and then passed it on to another 'lamp with a glass lamp base' appreciator who was not your mom. Spooky.

Hi, murf. At the time this picture was taken no ring had been purchased. In fact at that time, if somebody had told me we would be engaged in two months, I would have said, "No way!" ;) And one never knows what similarities one may have with others. :)

Thanks, everybody, for your congratulations and complements. The wedding is scheduled for sometime in September. A few things have to be finalized yet before a specific date is certain.
