More Ice at Ringing Rocks

This is the last of three posts of my hike at Ringing Rocks County Park near Upper Black Eddy, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. The ice formations were fantastic. You almost have to be there to fully appreciate them.

I wish we had waterfalls around here--I love your pictures of frozen falls. It's cold here, -15F this morning.

Thanks, photowannabe. And, yes, it was still and quiet there. Not until the very end of my time there did I meet any other people.

Thanks, ginnie. Glad you enjoyed the pics. I'd love to post them on SC; but my life is incredibly busy, I have a hard enough time keeping up with just this blog these days.

Thanks, katie. I'm glad I could take you on this hike via my blog.

Thanks, reflex. Glad you sensed the beauty of the ice scenes.

Hi, choo choo. Most of these were actually not waterfalls per se, but huge icecicles hanging over bluffs in this post.

Thanks, sage. And - 15 sounds way too cold for me. ;) It was cold enough this morning at 5 above.

Thanks, mikaela. Glad you enjoyed hiking photos.

Ice, ice, ice !
You were in the mountains is the reason why I think
How can it be possible to have such iced river just near a human home ?
There are rather near bear home !
ahaha !

Cergie is soon back, tim. My daughter has a new job and she'll soon go away from home and I'll have more time for blogging !

Thanks, backpack_everyday. Glad you enjoyed the pics.

Thanks, merili. Most people around here wish the cold would go away. :)

Hi, zeekat. Yes, that is winter.

Thanks, bobby. Creation is marvelous!

Hi, cergie. Glad you enjoy the pics. These are only about an hours drive away from where I live and just in a hilly area; not in the mountains.

Thanks, moi. These pictures don't capture half the real beauty of seeing it in person.

I just really don't get ice. It's amazing. I want some here!

Hi, san nakji. You might not appreciate ice so much if you experienced how cold for how long it had to get for these views. ;)
