Uh oh..someone has been manipulating photos again. ;-) That's actually quite nice. What is it?

What does your imagination tell you? Let your thoughts fly. Perhaps, it's just that.

Good answer, Tim. I immediately thought of a brand new snowfall in a field with a crisp blue sky. Very refreshing.

Great picture!!!
Did you use some kind of kaleidoscopic lens???
Greetings from Chile

I think originally it was a cloud but now it's someone parachuting.

That's a stunner!

jamintake.blogspot.com - I still have to post as anonymous because you're still not on blogger beta. Hop to it! :P

Thanks, fred. That sounds so inviting and restorative. I think I could enjoy some winter before too long though I want time to enjoy autumn.

Thanks, edulabbe. I used a kaleidoscopic tool in Corel Paint Shop Pro X to produce this picture from a photograph originally consisting of mainly trees and a blue sky with some puffy, white clouds.

Thanks, ocean. You're pretty close. See my comment above. :)

Hi, murf. Now that's what I like to see - using your imagination to interpret the picture. We probably could come up with multiple interpretations. It looks like a cog wheel in the center of the picture. Or is that an alien space ship whose forces are tearing up the vegetation from below? ;)

Thanks, fjl. Glad it spoke to you. Thanks for visiting.

Hi, anvilcloud. Every now and then, I like to play with photos. Perhaps, sometime, I will create a separate blog just for playing with and creatively manipulating photos.

Thanks, mikaela. I would like to switch to the new beta blogger but Blogger hasn't made it available to me just yet without starting a completely new blog. By the way, I know I have at least one beta blogger who does sign in under his display name and it does work for him.

Cool photo! I've been trying to figure what's in the middle. I think when you used the one image multiple times the refraction of light in the original photo made a snowflake-like image in the new photo, or something like that.

OK...I finally posted some photos from our day of hiking back in August if you'd like to see them :-)

Thanks, paige. Glad you liked the transformed photo.

Hi, asma. Good to hear from you and I am glad that things are well with you. And, yes, your computer class comes first. I am doing well, too.

Hi, minka. It's theraputic to play even for adults! ;)

Hi, cergie. I find that I need to play most when I am the most busy. Does that make sense to you? ;)

Thanks, ash. I had fun playing with that photo.

Hi, charlie. Glad you liked it. I think your explanation fits at least partially. And I enjoyed your photos; makes me want to check it out myself some day.

I think it must be the ceiling frescoe in Tim's dining room.
