Last evening, I went for a walk at the Perkiomen Watershed Conservancy near Schwenksville, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. This first part will mostly show autumn meadow scenes. In part two, I will have some butterfly pictures. For those who live near here, I strongly recommend visiting the grounds of the Perkiomen Watershed Conservancy - both the meadows and the woodland.
The order of the pictures is the sequential order of my encounter with the scenes.
Enjoyed your pictures of my old haunts. I thought you might enjoy this blog- as the man who posts it loves pictures- taking them, and is traveling- something I have found you like. Oh, and he lived in Pa. for years. alaninrom.blogspot.com
What a beautiful and peaceful walk it was with you. I particularly loved the photos with yellow!Nice to see others enjoy what nature offers us.It's all there for us and you took the time.
I can tell that autumn is starting to hit your neck of the woods, Tim. Such great pics. It's my favorite time of the year but takes longer to come to Atlanta!
Thanks, judypatooote. And enjoy your visit up north in Michigan. I'll look forward to seeing some pictures of yours fromt there.
Thanks, nines. Glad I could bring the joys of your old haunts. I have taken a brief look at the site you recommended and will be going back there. I love learning about other places in the world.
Thanks, naturegirl, for joining me in my nature walk. Yellow flowers can be so pretty!
Hi, murf. That's right autumn is in the air around here. As for my hiking shoes, I've been mostly wearing cheap Walmart sandals that just recently wore out. So they are gone. But it is an interesting idea. :)
Thanks, jam*tacular. Glad you enjoyed the pics and I'm glad you found out you could sign in with your beta blogger identity.
Thanks, fanatic cook. You helped to make my day. :)
Thanks, christina. I try and this time I was trying more to convey the atmosphere of the place rather than to display individual fantastic shots.
Hi, ginnie. Yes, I guess it does take longer for Autumn to make its appearance in Atlanta. But here you can enjoy my Autumn vicariously. :)
My main blog: Ramblings generally focuses on telling a story via photography and words. These stories generally center around family, nature, and church although sometimes just about life in general. I also have a blog entitled Fingerprints. I post less frequently in Fingerprints. It serves as a catch all of anything that does not go in my Ramblings blog including memes, quizzes, and reports on books and movies.
The road awaits
Time doesn't
The road beckons
Time steps forward
Will we move
In step with time?
Will we step forward
Shaping our time?
Will we take time
To see the present?
Will we explore the past
And understand our heritage?
Will we laugh?
Will we wonder?
Will we touch?
Will we feel?
Time flies on
We have choices
Shall we go fast?
Shall we go slow?
We shall go forward
But we will choose the pace
We may dance with all our heart
Or bathe ourselves in a setting sun

I can smell fall in the air from your pictures. Sometime, you should take a picture of your walking shoes.
Beautiful photos :)

PS: My log in worked! :)
I loved that.
Well, as usual, your photos are superb and really capture the atmosphere of the place.
