Bergey Mill Park

This afternoon I went hiking at Bergey Mill Park along the East Branch of the Perkiomen Creek in Lower Salford Township, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. It was sunny and warm and the creek was full from a heavy rainfall during the night and early morning hours. I wore my sandals for the first time this year for the hike.

Isn't the sun wonderful? We've had a great day here ourselves temps. in the 50's and they say it will be in the middle 60's tomorrow. Great pictures of your hike. i think spring is just around the corner. Sandels huh?

Thanks, photowannabe. The weather has been great. And sandals were just perfect for the occasion with the ground being wet and muddy and the temperature not too cold. :)

Wow, sandals. Can you believe it?! Although I prefer the warmth, I find it hard to not think about environmental changes that have caused it to be such a mild winter. Who would have believed ten years ago that you'd be walking around in sandals this time of year? Crazy...

Enjoy the weather, the sun and the colors it brings.
Take care

There's still too much snow here to wear sandals! Thanks for taking us along.

I think the top photo looks like an amazing aerial view. If you hadn't described it, that's what I would be thinking even now!

The days here are not getting warmer yet, but the sun is out and shining brightly. Your lovely pictures make me want to visit Pennsylvania.

Hi, mikaela. I was comfortable with sandals that day; but I wouldn't today. :)

Thanks, analia. Glad you enjoyed the photos. Did you get your warm weather back? It has gotten cold and windy here today again.

Hi, merili. I think you have been having quite a cold winter colder than here if I recall right.

Hi, murf. Nope! I don't wear socks with sandals. Defeats the purpose. :)

Thanks, sage. I guess you are bit more North than I. :)

Thanks, san nakji. In one sense, it is an aerial view since I took the photo from over top of it. :)

Thanks, abandoned in pasadena. The sun is still out today; but it is colder and quite windy today. And we're suppose to get snow again on Wednesday.

Thanks, memories catcher. I enjoy the outdoors quite a bit. :)

Thanks, moi. Interesting comparison of the moss to Florida palm trees.

Your my kind of photographer...you take the same kind of picture that I like to take....the only difference is you get to go find those wonderful creations.....I'm lucky to find an unusual weed, or bush or tree to take.....but I love the outdoors......and this summer, I am going to take advantage of the sunshine......and capture some different shots....
