Ice at Ringing Rocks County Park

This afternoon I went hiking at Ringing Rocks County Park near Upper Black Eddy, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. All of these pictures are taken from the same falls on this creek just at different angles and sections of the falls. It was a partly cloudy to cloudy afternoon.

The ice is amazing. I have never seen anything like that in real life. Gorgeous icicles and compositions.

So spectacular, Tim! I'm actually very glad to see it got cold enough for that. It needs to continue being cold for several more weeks!!!

Amazing, the weather is not so rude in Cergy, we are in the west part of Europe and so the weather is sweater. It's the same in California however our weather is not so sweet
I like the tree trunk stopped through the iced river

This is a great park in general, I live right near there. Don't forget the rock field when you visit!

Tim, I had a feeling that I was a poor man's Tim Rice when I post pictures of my "hiking expeditions" but I'm pretty sure that these lovely pictures just confirmed that. :-)

Ice is a wonderful thing. It is so beautiful. Although I imagine it's not good to have icy roads? It just doesn't get cold enough here to experience that. I hope you wrapped up warm!

Hi, sage. You do have a point! :)

Thanks, mreddie. I'm sure these falls didn't ice up just over night either.

Thanks, shionge. I'm glad you find it so refreshing!

Thanks, sarad. I think frozen waterfalls always possess a certain majesty.

Thanks, san nakji. Glad you enjoyed these pics. The roads haven't been that icy though.
