Sunday with my brother's family

This past Sunday, my girlfriend and I spent some time with the family of my nieces. We did a variety of activities together. But this post specializes on the violin playing time. Much of the time in these pictures my girlfriend played the violin while one of my nieces would play the piano. In the last picture, my oldest niece was given a chance to try out the violin.

I played the viola for 8 years before dropping it when I entered high school. How I wish I had kept it up!

What an enjoyable weekend that must have been, especially with your honey. Nice shots.

Look at her, fitting in with the family. That's nice to see that your family seems to like her almost as much as you do. ;-)

Hi, deals on wheels. Maybe you should pick the viola up again.

Thanks, mreddie. They are talented.

Thanks, murf. She does fit in very well with my extended family. I am proud of how she fits in.

It's so difficult to play violin, that needs much practce, it's much easier to play piano !
When violin is not well played, it's a pitty for the ears, I hope your girl friend is a good player, tim

My granddaughters Megan and Ali use to take lessons at school while in grade school....Megan Violin and Ali Viola......it was a bit screechy....but they had great fun....then they advanced to the piano......thanks for sharing.....

I love the violin! My daughter has been playing it since 4--so she's been playing a little over 4 years. And now, we have an exchange student from Korea who also plays.

It looks like a very happy Sunday afternoon.

I played the violin when I was a kid. For three weeks. Badly. Oh yeah.

The violin looks like the hardest instrument in the world....

Hi, san nakji. I never tried playing the violin; so I don't know how hard it is to play.
