that's one of those patterns I can look in and get lost, like it sucks me in (the warning, "don't gaze into the abyss" comes to mind here...)

If I stared it long & hard enough I usually get a headache :D

I do love the prints.

Most of such work was pioneered by a dutch artist calles M.C.Escher. Some of his work on symmetric groups can be found below

I think it looks like a shirt that Sage probably had in the mid 1970's and made out of polyester. :-)

This one would make me dizzy if I looked at it too long :)

Yes, you do, Tim. And you do them so well! :)

Thanks, mreddie. It was play time in a time of little time. :)

Thanks, photowannabe. It could be almost psychodelic, couldn't it?

Hi, lucie marguerite. You become blinded too easily. ;)

Hi, I*IcheI*I©. Yes I believe you can call it a fractal. I used a kaleidoscope function to create it.

Hi, sage. I like your comment. It can suck one in, can't it?

Hi, shionge. It can cause a headache if looked at too long; nevertheless, I find it fascinating. :)

Thanks, sarad, for the information.

Hi, murf. Your comment made me smile a couple times over.

Thanks, ash. I find it interesting, too.

Hi, faye pekas. It could do that now, couldn't it?

Thanks, ginnie. I try. :)

Perhaps you had a shirt like that too ? ;-)

You should show what the original looked like....that is what is so amazing, how a simple flower, or leaf or just about anything, can turn into a beautiful design....with so much color, and it's hard to put them together...just today I was looking at a butterfly that I made a design from and framed it, and it is just so much fun to do , and to look at...... thanks to you, I can make those pretty designs....

Hi, murf! Maybe not quite like that; but probably closer than I want to admit. :)

Hi, judypatooote. Glad I could provide/introduce you to so much enjoyment. I sometimes have posted the original with the final design. And generally most people tell me they like the original better than the final design. I want people to appreciate the design for the design nor for what it came from. :)

I think you are a quilter at heart. Definitely a photo artist!

Thanks, katie, for the complement. I value that from you.
