My Nieces' Winter Piano Recital

This afternoon I went to my nieces' winter piano recital at The James Lorah House in Doylestown, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. The first two photos were taken during the performance. Unfortunately, I wasn't positioned at a location that shows their hand and finger movement.

Beautiful kids. I love the shot of the niece with her feet on the books.
Great captures.

Yes beautiful girls. You must be a nice uncle to attend their recital.

One of the standards of the season -- music recitals.

I always wish I could play the piano. Unfortunately I am too lazy...

I love to attend the recitals for the little ones. Sooo cute.

Westwood Baptist just had their Christmas recitals- of which I was a part and they had some of the most adorable little ones singing, dancing, playing various instruments. The cutest were the 3 & 4 year old ballerina's. :o)

They're all cute. However, I agree with everyone that the little one with her feet on the books is especially cute :)

Thanks for sharing and Have a Blessed and Wonderful Christmas.

It's soooooo cute that they have those pieces of carpet for them to put their feet on if they aren't tall enough to reach the floor.

I wish I could hear them playing...

Time, just to tell you that I absolutely adore pictures like these. They are so uplifitng. And Ithink your postioning was fine. The only thing that can make a difference is if you are able to move around discreetly, without disturbing. But as they are, they are great, you can feel proud. Your nieces are delightful.

I'll say the same that every body:

HOOOO ! How cute and especially the books under the feet !

I find all your nieces very pretty hazving so beautiful long fair hair, and so happy to play for all the family and people

Now I'm waiting a photo of our dear Tim playing piano
I would like to see that !

She looks so focused. There was no way I'd be able to concentrate like that on much of anything when I was her age:)

Growing up, I had 7 years of piano lessons (make that 1 year 7 times), and somehow managed to miss out on the recital experience altogether. Great pics.

Hi, photowannabe. Glad you enjoyed these pics. My nieces are special! :)

Thanks, faye pekas. I love my nieces lots! :)

Hi, anvilcloud. And a good standard at that!

Hi, san nakji. Piano music is beautiful; but like anything else worth accomplishing, it takes time and commitment.

Thanks, murf. I'm sure their piano teacher taught them that.

Thanks, fred. They are beautiful girls, aren't they?

Thanks, shionge. They are wonderful kids!

Hi, trailady. It is fun to attend the recitals of young children. It sounds like the Christmas recital for Westwood Baptist was terrific, too.

Thanks, mreddie.

Thanks, belizegial. Glad you enjoyed my sharing!

Thanks, deals on wheels. Those pieces of carpet are so helpful for the younger piano players. It was fun to hear them play.

Thanks, mile stones. From the position I had to take them, I am pleased with the results. And my nieces definitely are delightful girls. Thanks.

Thanks, lucie marguerite. Glad you enjoyed these photos of my nieces. I'm afraid you won't see a picture of me playing piano. I haven't played a piano probably in over thirty years.

Hi, choochoo. They can be really focused when playing the piano; but sometimes they also look all about while playing the piano without skipping a beat.

Thanks, benjamin potter. I never had a recital experience either when I played the piano as a teenager.

Oh what sweet little girls! And all so talented. I'm going to become an aunt for the fourth time next Wednesday when my sister-in-law has her baby girl. Can't wait.

Your nieces will never forget that Uncle Tim was there (year after year!). Yes, this is what it's all about. It takes a village! :)

Thanks, ben reynolds. Glad you enjoyed the winter piano recital pics and also the fungi pics. Knowing people enjoy what I post makes blogging rewarding.

Thanks, sage. It is well worth it attending functions such as these. I love my nieces and nephews and enjoy their performances.

Thanks, christina. They are talented. And congratulations on your upcoming becoming an aunt again. Children are so much fun and help to make our world a better place.

Thanks, ginnie. It's well worth spending time with my nieces and nephews. I love them and they love me. We all benefit. And they put their heart into their performances.
