Some Azaleas around Souderton

Today my car was at the garage for exhaust system work. So I took a short walk around parts of Souderton and took the following azalea photos. Some day I'll have to grow some of them myself. :)

Azaleas are so beautiful, Tim, and come in so many different colors. We have lots of them in Atlanta because they do well in the heat and dry conditions, I guess. We have the Christmas-Red variety at home.

Flowers so gorgeous when they are not alone
Azalees are so. They need to be numerous and then they make a true fire work. Don't you think so ?

Your neck of the woods must be amazing for such scenes to be found near a mechanic's garage. In my world, it would be nothing but dandelions growing between cracks in the pavement...at best. :-)

The azaleas really like it in your neck of the woods. They are beautiful explosions of color.

I grew up on the Carolina coast and in early April, Azeleas are everywhere. Great shots.

I love azaleas and my azalea would have looked like those if that April freeze wouldn't have done a number on my plant. You have to have bad soil to grow an azalea. Ours is in a location where it gets very little rain also.

Wow! Great pictures. I once went to the Azalea Festival in Austin Texas and they were just beautiful.

Thanks, sarad. I live in a beautiful area and I'm realizing that more and more. I am blessed.

Thanks, ginnie. Azaleas are among my favorite shrubs.

Thanks, cergie. I think the more the better. :)

Hi, murf. I am increasingly realizing how blessed I am.

Thanks, moi. Sometimes, I think we're so busy that we fail to see all the beauty around us.

Thanks, photowannabe. They do grow well here it seems.

Thanks, sage. Azaleas are fun to photographed.

Thanks, trailady. They bloom well in Pennsylvania; but I haven't traveled enough this time of year to know how it compares with elsewhere.

Thanks, sandy. I'm sorry to hear that your azaleas suffered from a freeze.

Thanks, ava. I bet that azalea festival was loads of enjoyment.
