This afternoon I went hiking along the East Branch of the Perkiomen Creek on the grounds of the Perkiomen Watershed Conservancy near Schwenksville, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. Last Tuesday into Wednesday, we had some snow, sleet, and freezing rain and some cold temperatures since then. In the next post, I will show some ice pictures along the banks of the creek.

Hi, murf. You're right! I do come from a large family. And then when I think of church family and friends! It's going to be tough deciding how many and who we can invite to the reception and still fit within our finances.
Thanks, spider girl. It was cold that day! I had to put my hands in my pockets a number of times on that hike. :)
as always, great looking shots, but no follow up to your Valentine Day announcement?
ReplyDeletelove the creek pics.........someday wud love to have a house by a creek :)
ReplyDeleteI like all the shots but the stump really catches my eye. Its framed perfectly.
ReplyDeleteI love the first 6 pictures. They're color yet almost purely black and white.
ReplyDeleteI hope you include pictures and stories of the wedding preparations as well. ;-)
Thanks, sage. You can now see a pre-engagement photo in my most recent post.
ReplyDeleteThanks, moi. Creeks are wonderful places to enjoy.
Thanks, photowannabe. I like that photo, too.
Thanks, murf. I'm hoping to do more nature posting now. In the past few weeks, I've been reading my fiancée's theology texts along with her. Along with learning a lot with her through this, I learned to appreciate how busy seminary makes her schedule. Right now, we're working or in my case soon beginning to work on a guest list for the reception. That will be challenging.
Just your family alone is quite a lot of people to invite. :-)
ReplyDeleteBrrr! Beautiful, but chilly-looking!
