I had to try out my new lightweight tripod that I got yesterday. I didn't have much time. So I only went to the edge of town to some undeveloped land. These are some of the results.

Wow, you got some nice clear shots. I need to start using my tri-pod more.
Every Thursday I take part in Thirteen Thursday and I blog hop around new blogs which I find fascinating. This week I start with flitzy phobie and somehow came across your blog.
Some very nice shots Tim. I'm hoping for one of those flexible tripods for Christmas. I just can't hold still enough for some of my shots. I like that little white flower.
Thanks, faye pekas. Tripods certainly can be helpful especially in low light conditions.
Hi, pepperlady. Thanks for coming by.
Thanks, cergie. And you're right. Sometime I will have to try to capture full moon. :)
Thanks, deals on wheels. God painted that one!
Thanks, sarad. It is actually the seed head of a wildflower known as Queen Anne's Lace or sometime more simply as a wild carrot flower. Why the seed head points in like that I don't know.
Thanks, photowannabe. Tripods certainly can be helpful. I probably wouldn't have taken these shots without one. When I was out, it was getting dark quick.
Thanks, judypatooote. I try. :)
Thanks, choochoo. The reds are beautiful, aren't they? I'm afraid these here are the last of the reds where I live till next fall.
Thanks, ocean. Glad you enjoyed the pics.
Thanks, shionge. Nature has a way of building beauty for all to enjoy.
My main blog: Ramblings generally focuses on telling a story via photography and words. These stories generally center around family, nature, and church although sometimes just about life in general. I also have a blog entitled Fingerprints. I post less frequently in Fingerprints. It serves as a catch all of anything that does not go in my Ramblings blog including memes, quizzes, and reports on books and movies.
The road awaits
Time doesn't
The road beckons
Time steps forward
Will we move
In step with time?
Will we step forward
Shaping our time?
Will we take time
To see the present?
Will we explore the past
And understand our heritage?
Will we laugh?
Will we wonder?
Will we touch?
Will we feel?
Time flies on
We have choices
Shall we go fast?
Shall we go slow?
We shall go forward
But we will choose the pace
We may dance with all our heart
Or bathe ourselves in a setting sun

Yes, that's nice
You must try to catch the full moon, now ! A tripod will be a good help to get a neat picture
I LOVE the first shot. It looks like a painting! Beautiful!
the second pic is classy. I wonder why does it all points inward. what exactly is it :)

I too just got a tripod and it's a wonderful thing. I enjoyed seeing these photos, Tim.
This just shows that we don't have to go far at all to be amazed by the beauty of God's creation. ec
Tim, thanks so much for your kind words of sympathy on my latest blog. i is most appreciated.
Nice images....Love the second one!
sooo p-r-e-t-t-y shots!...you seem to have this magic touch in taking pictures...great job! ;;)
Nice shots again, i like the way you go in close on just a few leaves that seem to defy the coming onslaught of winter.
What beautiful colors. That burst of red is amazing.
Thank you for sharing Tim.
Darilyn
Thanks, annie. Tripods can make a significant difference.
Hi, mreddie. You're so right. The beauty of God's creation can be found almost anywhere if our eyes are really open.
Hi, photowannabe. During times such as you are going through, that is what friends are for.
Thanks, ash. There are so many photos that could be my favorites. :)
Hi, I*IcheI*I©. You do honor me. Thank you.
Thanks, sage. Actually, while most everything is now brown, winter hasn't really been here yet.
