Below are some more photos from my July 4th morning hike at Peace Valley Park near Doylestown, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Nature has such diversity as this post will continue to show. It is this diversity that helps to make nature and this park so fascinating to me.

You did well with the butterfly. We have one similar: "machaon"-papilio machaon, papilionidae, (a kind of yellow butterfly/white). Yours is spectacular. The red flower, we call it "monarde", I know it grows in nature in States. I bought and planted one in my garden when spring and it's just beginning flowering now.
Your pictures are very pretty.
Wow, great picture of the cat tails!!! I'm always reminded of playing in, on and around my grandfather's pond when I was a child every time I see them. Beautiful flowers and I love the shot of the finches! Thanks!
Ohoh! How did you do to put my photo on your blog ? Actually, I was not there the 4th of July !
;-D
Tim, your photos are getting better and better. I think the plant at the top is your best yet! Yay!
Absolutely beautiful shots. I love the macro shots of the butterfly and the flowers.
I haven't seen any pretty butterflies for a while so your pictures come as a breath of fresh air. Really lovely. :)
Your photo-taking skills appear to be getting more and more spectacular, Tim! I have so many favorites these days of what you're taking...like the cattail and the red flower and the birdfeeder. Well done!
I just found a new screensaver. If it's okay with you, of course.
The Missus will love the birds.
Thanks, cergie. With butterfly photos, there is a big element of chance involved. One never knows when the butterfly will flutter on. I was given the chance to snap it at the right moment.
Thanks, ava. Glad you enjoyed these nature shots. I had fun capturing these shots.
Thanks, san nakji. I try to keep learning how to take and present better shots.
Hi, merili. I'm glad these pictures were a bright spot for you.

Hi, fred. You may use any of these photos for a personal screensaver. I am honored.
Thanks! It's going on the computer now.
What delightful pictures!
Your pictures are fantastic (all of them) and I would die to get such a clear shot of a butterfly like yours.

Great Shots!
Hi, fred. May you and your Missus find much pleasure in it. :)
Hi, etchen. Nature does have a way of touching us, doesn't it?
Thanks, abandoned in pasadena. Butterfly photos are a bit of touch and go. You just hope the butterfly stays still just for a second.
Thanks, consise10. Nature does provide us with much opportunity for appreciation.
