Earthsea

Unity in diversity
in the midst of adversity
persisting in pursuit
of one's higher calling

That seems to describe the DVD movie Earthsea I watched on my computer Saturday night. The story is a mix of wizardry, religion, and good old selfish ambition for immortality and power. It kept my attention during all 172 minutes of it. If you like fantastic tales, I recommend it.

Isabella Rossellini is such a beautiful lady and she speaks French fluently...

Hi, cergie. Thanks for your comment. I'm afraid I know very little about her.

Coucou, Tim, Isabella is the daughter of Ingrid Bergman ( a swedish actrice) and the great, great Italian director Roberto Rossellini.
For now, I decide not to take care of my falts when writting in English.
The more important is to be undrestood... and to keep contact.

Thanks for the recommendation, Tim, because this sounds exactly up our alley. Donica reads books like this all the time (Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time series is her favorite). We will definitely look this one up. And BTW, Isabella Rossellini is one of my favorite actresses of all time! She's gorgeous, inside and out!

Thanks, cergie. And as for your English, don't worry too much about being absolutely correct. And by the way, I think you communicate very well in English.

Thanks, ginnie. I loved reading Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time and would rate it higher than Earthsea. But both are good.
