Autumn Colors at Lake Nockamixon

Yesterday and today, my wife and I enjoyed autumn's beauty at Lake Nockamixon on the Quakertown side, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Here are a few photos from our time there. Some day we'll have to rent kyacks or a canoe and enjoy the scenery from that perspective.

Views at Nockamixon State Park

Yesterday in the early evening hours I went hiking at Nockamixon State Park on the Bedminster side branching off of Kellers Church Road. It was a beautiful sunny and breezy evening. The weather was so warm that I chose to ware sandals and shorts. And it was good that I did so as many sections of the trails were muddy and covered with large water puddles. Below are photos of some of the sights I saw along the way.

Yesterday afternoon at Nockamixon State Park

Yesterday afternoon was the warmest day yet with temperatures in the 80 degrees Fahrenheit. It was a beautiful day for hiking and I returned to a different section of Nockamixon State Park.

Hike at Nockamixon State Park, Sterner Mill Section

Yesterday afternoon, I went for a hike in the Sterner Mill section of Nockamixon State Park on the Quakertown side in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. It was a beautiful, warm, sunny day with temperatures in the fifties. But the trails were still snow covered though melting. My shoes got quite wet.

A Hike at Nockamixon State Park

Yesterday morning, I went hiking at Nockamixon State Park on the Bedminster side of the park in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. For those who know the area, I started my hike at the end of Kellers Church Road and hiked towards Rt. 611. It was a partley cloudy, partly sunny morning. The trails were wet and muddy but it was a beautiful morning.
