This morning between about 6:00 and 8:00 a.m. I went for a hike at Peace Valley Park near Doylestown, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. It was cold; I could barely take my hands out of my pockets to take pictures. But it was a good time of enjoying the outdoors and peaceful solitude.

Thanks, moi. My favorite shot is the top one of a portion of the lake.
Thanks, photowannabe. Solitude would be a good title for this series. :)
Hi, murf. I'm afraid that morning there was not a place to see the sunrise. The hills on the other side of the creek along with the trees prevented that.
Incredible too ! You're living in an incredible country ! My camellias are full blossomed Spring is coming earlier than last year (I took a ladybug photograph on a rose bush this morning)
a very different view of snow n ice.........the buish tinge of early morning lends such beauty to the shots ....have a great weekend!!! :)
ReplyDeleteYour shots should be titled Solitude. The pictures give the feel of quietness and invigorating air.
ReplyDeleteI hope you were able to find an open area to enjoy what looked like a pretty sunrise.

I am SOOOOO glad the cold has been there for awhile, Tim. We need it to kill all the bugs, right? :)

Hi, ginnie. I think you are right. Plus certain trees like apple trees need the cold to bear fruit the next summer.
ReplyDeleteThanks, cergie. It sure does sound like you are living in a different climate than I am.
