And butterflies are fun and sometimes frustrating when one tries to photograph them.

Thanks, samrina. The butterfly picture is one of my favorites, too.

Hi, cergie. Life has much to show if our eyes are open. However, I did not know the bumblebee was in the picture until after I took it. I love your comments about the vultures. :)

Thanks, fred. That picture turned out better than even I thought it would.

Thanks, naturegirl. I love your imagination. Such imagination adds a bit of spice to life.

Thanks, murf. Glad you enjoyed your walk (without mosquitoes of course). Last week when I was in the Delaware Water Gap area, I almost got eaten alive by mosquitoes and horseflies. They were so bad that I didn't realize how scratched up I got from trying to run away from them till much later.

Thanks, crystal. My summer has had lots of bright spots. I am thankful though not always as much as I should be.

Hi, paige. Glad I could share this walk with you. It was a pleasure.

Thanks, minka. Two flying insects in the same picture !!!
The vultures, we have none near my home. Only in wildest part of France. They are protected by law. They do a good job cleaning dead animals. How funny they are waiting in a dry tree ! Funeral scene indeed ! Though vultures have no dramatic sense. I think they prefer no leaves to have a better view ! (So I have when I click on your pictures !!!)Cergiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14623905868861239570noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18014050.post-1155452172766046962006-08-13T01:56:00.000-05:002006-08-13T01:56:00.000-05:00Beautiful pics, just loved the butterfly :)Hope u ...Beautiful pics, just loved the butterfly :)

Hope u doing fine.

Takecare.Sam!!https://www.blogger.com/profile/13380920968978656414noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18014050.post-1155440919602704672006-08-12T22:48:00.000-05:002006-08-12T22:48:00.000-05:00What a wonderful walk it was. The tree roots were very interesting looking too.

All your pictures are always nice and I love reading your posts and looking at the pictures.
